Laüsa takes its name from the Gascon language, the birthplace of MAISON PECHAVY. Laüsa means spark, a perfect name to evoke the glow of this natural wax candle. This handcrafted scented candle comes with a box of small matches.

A mixed wax for an optimal olfactory return

This scented candle is composed of a mixed wax that subtly scents your homes both hot and cold. The candle is 100% made in France, it is composed of a wax manufactured by a craftsman-waxmaker labeled EPV and a perfume developed in Grasse.

The perfume

Laüsa is a scented candle that invites you to curl up next to a dancing and crackling wood fire. Light the flame of your candle with this box of matches Douceur and create a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Laüsa, a scent that invites you to enjoy the refined scent of wood blending lavender, patchouli, wood fire and hints of smoked bergamot tea. Carine Pechavy, the brand's founder, imagined this fragrance as a true olfactory signature of MAISON PECHAVY.

Size

Maison Pechavy offers three generous sizes that will allow you to enjoy an enveloping and reassuring atmosphere for several hours. For this 190gr format, made of a cotton wick, the burning time is estimated at 45h.

The perfume

The perfume has been worked to avoid as much as possible the harmful substances contained in most of the scented candles on the market: VOC (volatile organic compounds) and CMR (carcinogenic, mutagenic and reprotoxic). Our perfume contains less than 0.02% of VOC and less than 0.05% of CMR in a candle. These substances are provided by natural materials.

Time of combustion

The time of combustion following a test in real conditions by the craftsman-waxmaker is 45h.

The scented candle was made in France. The wick is in cotton for an optimal olfactory diffusion.

At the time of the first combustion, leave the candle lit 1h maximum and cut the wick at 0.5 cm of the base.

After each combustion (3h maximum of combustion), take care to cut the wick at 0.5 cm (or before each combustion) to avoid any emission of soot particles (the wick which blackens, carbonizes and crackles).

To extinguish the candle, do not blow on it but use a snuffer or dip the wick in the melted wax present on the periphery (with the help of the wooden stem of a match or with the point of a knife) and straighten it up immediately then take care to center it well so that it does not dig the wax in an irregular way.
